Samsung Galaxy A34 5G Review And Specification

The Samsung Galaxy a34 alongside the a54
are the only two high-end Samsung a
series devises this year there's no a74
so one might naturally expect the a54 to
move up and field issues of the a74 and
the a34 closer to the a54 it is indeed
closer to the a54 thanks to the domestic
1080 and probably edges out of the a54
in certain areas but it's probably not
the jumping performance you are looking
for coming from the a33 to be clear it
has improved in performance over the a33
in terms of stability and I'll say
gaming but not so much on cameras in my
opinion but we'll get to all these
details later in the new a series
this looked the most like the S-Series
particularly because of the matte finish
on the rear now why not glass it's
enough to fool anyone at least until
they see that the famous Note Samsung seems
to love so much I
think at the price this phone comes out
only Samsung dares to apply
such a notch speaking of price the
Galaxy a34 costs the same as

the one with six gigs of
RAM and 128 gigs of storage as you
should already expect there to be no
charger in the box with Samsung
devices so you need to buy if you don't
already own one the a34 supports Duana
SIM cards alongside a Micro SD card slot
should you need more storage dwelling on
the design similarities to the S-Series
might make me start to sound like a
broken record because I mentioned it in
my A14 and a54 reviews so it now sounds
like old news the Galaxy a34 gets a
the plastic finish on the rear pretty much
plastic but Samsung costs gas this means
while it is not as premium as Gorilla
The glass on the a54 it is more durable than it
does get the gorilla glass on the
display through but we're not talking
about that yet actually let's talk about
the display you know once you are able
to look past that Notch you get a 1080p
AMOLED display with 120hz refresh rate
that's one area it has improved over its
predecessor which had 90 Hertz it is a
vibrant AMOLED as you expect from
Samsung but I see a little less on the
Vibrance like we are used to regardless
it's still a good AMOLED display and
great for consuming content like most of
them during Samsung devices the a34 uses
an optical fingerprint scanner which
works just fine also the always-on
the display is back here it was absent from
the a33 and I never got to know if it was
returned with a software update
as I no longer had mine the Galaxy a34
are IP67 water and dust resistance just
like its predecessor, I think at this
price point aside Google's pixel you
won't find any other devices with IP67
rating feel free to correct me if I got
that's wrong on the Hands-On fill out said
I prefer the matte finish here to that
of the a54 it feels okay on the hands
it's slightly taller than the
a54 at 6.6 inches I have a comparison
coming up between these two so we'll see
just how well the a34 majors up
especially since the dynasty 1080 is
looking like a solid one interestingly
that's the same processor power in the
redmi note 11 Pro Plus 5G which Falls
around the price point of the Galaxy a54
benchmarks cost you it's a good one and
in my experience offers better gaming
optimization than what we have on the
a55 for but let's save the comparisons
for the actual comparison video, how does
the dimension eternity do here on
average day-to-day tasks first I'd see
better experience than the Xbox 1280 on
the a33 device is smooth and snappy
and in performance, I'll see to a good
extent matches the a54 I've not
encountered any lags here and so far I
see that's a good alternative to the a54
if you intend to save costs on the gaming
performance this gives you a much better
optimization than its prejudicially a33
more stable and you can game at medium
to high graphics on your favorite titles
for better context, the a33 did not have
great optimization for gaming and was
never consisted of a frame rate of at least
in my experience and a couple of other
users who experience the same no thanks
to the Exynos 1280 of course now you can
play Call of Duty mobile at high
graphics and frame rate with no lags
The same is the case for Apex Legends I also
did not experience any abnormal hits in
while you might want to argue Samsung
should have gone for a Snapdragon
the processor I like the fact that they've
offered something better than the Exynos
1280 is actually enough to compete with
what redmi has to offer this year and
even better when you realize it's on the
a30 series which was usually just below
the redmi pro versions which make the
a34 looks like the best value for this
Series this year here's Food For
Thoughts more manufacturers seem to be
avoiding Snapdragon on their mid-range
phones must opt-in for Mediatek and
Samsung in particular is using Exynos
where they've not used Mediatek makes me
wonder if there's a plan to limit the
dependence on Snapdragon since most
people will go for Snapdragon
over anything else well that's just-food
for thoughts and not the topic of this
video back to the a34 and apologies for
the distraction the Galaxy a34 is a 5G
supported device but if you're in
Nigeria I tend not to use 5G as a reason
to buy this because Samsung phones still
currently do not work with NTN 5G unless
you are buying one originally meant for
another region I'd rather accessing 5G
on the a34 and a54 and it simply wasn't
there the 35 running on 113 and one UI
5.1 and we should see four major OS
upgrades coming for this that take it
to Android 17 and Samsung
has not given us any reason to doubt
that they'll deliver on the one you
experience is mostly bug-free and allows
you truly experience the smoothness of
the refresh rate again what better than
the wood from its predecessor its
battery life so far has not given me any
cause for concern it's steady lasting
through the entire day of standard use
it is a 5 000 milliampere capacity and
supports up to 25 watts of fast charging
and the camera Department coming from
the a33 Nothing much has changed the
same camera configuration with the
exemption of the depth sensor which I'd
say was irrelevant the rear cameras are
great and I found it satisfactory for
the most part but there are
inconsistencies sometimes with HDR
processing you might need a few shots to
get the perfect one but the cameras are
just as impressive as you'd expect of a
Samsung mid-range devices including with
night mode shots where you might notice
more inconsistencies are with this selfie
the camera sometimes the skin tone is just
off other times it's great sometimes if
If there is an absence at other times it's great I
don't remember the a33 being this way
and it could just be because of the
dynasty or just Samsung needing to
optimize it better it can shoot videos
at 4K 30 FPS from both selfie and bear
cameras rear camera has ois which works
great at 1080p but at 4K it's not as
good
okay so this is the selfie video quality
from the Samsung Galaxy a34 currently
shooting in 4k 30fps yeah that's that
that's the front
Butler reviews there all right so a selfie
camera 4K 30 FPS
HR is looking good how's my quality
how do you reach the video quality as
well
the Samsung Galaxy a34 comes from the
a33 is an improvement it beats in
performance and if you are wondering if
it's an upgrade from the a33 I'd say
it's a reasonable extent yes but if you
Hit a three experience is smooth and not
laggy you should not upgrade if however
you are looking to choose between the
a34 and a33 I recommend getting the new a34.
